Job Summary Team Description: Integration & Certification Engineering Team is chartered with integration, quality assurance and supporting automation infrastructure for varied lines of business. We work with internal and external stakeholders to build certify Comcast voice products and corresponding network elements infrastructure, certify new functionality, automate features and functionalities on our platform. Engineer will have a knowledge of SIP and traditional voice technology including the ability to monitor, configure, administer, and troubleshoot endpoints from various third parties affecting the service. A development background is desired to automate the test cases. Collaboration with the network team and coordination between internal and external stakeholders is important for this role.



Role and Responsibilities:

• Define and develop test automation strategies and methodologies with clear ROI analysis
• Assist in release management and propagating the code to Test & Production environments
• Debugging the failures and resolving the code issues
• Low level design analysis plus creating user stories for developers in case of bugs and sometimes for new requirements
• Actively triage and resolve environment defects and issues
• Develop test plans, design test processes, and establish quality goals
• Design, create and maintain extensible test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms using both open source and proprietary tool sets.
• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts
• Develop, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration pipelines including best practice metrics and reports
• Create high quality software deliverables across test plans, test scripts and test reports
• Analyze test data and implement metrics and dashboards for progress and product quality reporting.
• Be an advocate for shift-left testing practices, focusing on how we can ensure quality for the client
• Identify, design, and deliver innovative technical solutions to increase test effectiveness and coverage, while reducing the cost of test execution
• Maintenance of the smoke test when new requirements change the existing logic
• Development/integration of the new APIs released into the Smoke test automation

The Ideal Candidate:

• 2-4 Years of (relevant) experience in a product development or Telecom or equivalent
• Experience in developing and using various test frameworks and tools such as Selenium Webdriver, Django, Java, C#, Python, JavaScript and Appium
• Knowledge of object-oriented design principles.
• Good understanding and experience of Agile and DevOps methodologies and frameworks
• Hands on experience with CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins or Bamboo
• Experience with tools & applications such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, BitBucket, Git and Artifactory/Maven.
• Experience working within TDD and BDD environments including proficiency in Gherkin or similar tool
• Experience with API testing with knowledge of web services automation using SOAP and REST services
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

Education Qualification & Work Experience Criteria:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Computer Science or IT or equivalent technical discipline) with equivalent work experience
