Introduction:

This role is for an end to end Tester who will work within the acquiring chargebacks upgrade programme to understand a, the test scope / approach,a, write test scripts and data and execute test conditions to join the dots between applications . The candidate must include automation considerations in this approach and understand defect TRIAGE and principles of test outcome and defect reporting .

What will you be doing?

• Ensure adherence to testing governance and processes
• Review requirements to identify all areas of functional and non-functional (e.g. capacity, availability, response times, etc.) testing required
• Create and execute tests manually or using Approved Automation/Functional/Performance Test tools as applicable aligning to overall test strategy defined
• Complete assignment work to budget, time and quality requirements. Document all work in accordance with agreed standards, and with re-use in mind
• Participate and collaborate in a, defect triage and help speedy resolution of defects with sharing of root cause
• Provide accurate and timely status reports and project metrics to various levels of stakeholders and as agreed by the project and QA leadership team
• Escalate any issues to Test Lead as appropriate and in timely manner and provide options to resolve the issues for projectaAEURA(TM)s point of view
• Participate in requirement analysis, identifying risks and creation of test scenarios
• Always looking for opportunities to perform exploratory testing
• Actively keep up to date with the feature teams, spot inconsistencies, and potential conflicts in approach. Work to ensure full integration with a focus on the quality of the overall service.
• Contribute in resolving technical issues from functional and technical perspective

What weaAEURA(TM)re looking for:

• Strong experience in QA aAEURA" Manual and Automation
• Knowledge on Test automation tools-, API test automation using REST Assured tool / Karate ,selenium , cucumber using Java
• Extensive knowledge of Testing lifecycle and core testing process/techniques using different test approaches
• Excellent knowledge in testing skills (provide estimations, writing test scenarios, cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)
• Experience in both batch and UI testing
• Knowledge of scheduling,
• Experience in Migration and cutover testing
• Knowledge in Object Oriented Analysis and Design Concepts, Core Java 7/8, Middle tier technologies e.g. JPA/hibernate, Spring, unit testing, mocking frameworks and caching concepts clarity.
• Hands on knowledge on Web services (SOAP, REST and Micro Services) with spring.
• Hands on knowledge of associated technologies such as Spring Boot, Spring-JMS, Spring-Data
• Awareness of CI/CD and DevOps - Jenkins
• Experience of using the Git source code control system
• Excellent communication skills [verbal and written].a, Ability to communicate clearly with the global team/stakeholders on the status and progress of allocated activities
• Strong analytical capability

Skills that will help you in the role:

aAEURAKnowledge of operational acceptance testing

aAEURAKnowledge in Performance testing tool

aAEURAPrior experience in preparing test metrics/reports.
