Emr / Ehr / Hl7 Integration Specialist
Job Description
Extensive knowledge in US Healthcare landscape.
Exposure to SNOMED, LOINC, or ICD, Direct Messaging etc. would be an added advantage.
Extensive experience in US Healthcare Integration.
Mandatory experience in Mirth Interface Engine and HL7, CCDA, FHIR formats.
Expertise in using and operationally supporting enterprise level-interface engines.
Experience in building or managing Health Information Exchange is an added plus.
Experience in working with third-party interface engines such as Redox would be an added plus.
Excellent knowledge incorporating several HL7 V2.X interfaces for ORM, ORU, VXU, MDM, ADT segments.
Good knowledge in construction, analysis and validating HL7 messages as per standards
Building HL7 interfaces between various Health Information Systems and multiple downstream applications.
Work experience in educating Physicians on EMR/EHR- CDI process as per Standards.
Good understanding in integrating with one or more of EHRs such as Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, NextGen, AthenaHealth, etc would be an added plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and mentor teams, resolve conflicts, and foster team spirit.
Good communication skills written and verbal.
Should be a motivated individual who enjoys his/her work.
