Job Description


Serve as a strategic, consultative partner to provide the best in class employee relations expertise and services. Plan, develop, implement and promote activities and programs that enhance overall employee engagement, communication and employee relations while overseeing the compliance of company employment policies and practices with relevant employment regulations Main Job Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities Provide advice, counsel and resolution to employees and managers on complex and sensitive employee matters including policy interpretation and application, conflict resolution, performance management, discipline and termination processes and practices Lead, Investigate and conduct formal reviews and report outs regarding claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, workplace concerns and other issues to reach conclusion and present findings for further action and proposed remediation Act as escalation for highly complex matters to provide recommendations that mitigate risk. Partner and collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders at all levels to ensure optimal decisions and outcomes are made through influencing, coaching, and providing subject matter expertise that balance risk and business needs Partner with HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Expertise (COEs), internal/external legal counsel, compliance team, and other internal investigative bodies, as necessary to reach an effective resolution employee matters Identify and drive philosophies and programs to foster constructive employee relations and ensure the organizations\' approach to its employees is fair, respectful and consistent Maintain, gather, analyze and interpret data and metrics to develop recommendations and strategies to facilitate positive employee relations and engagement Work with Leadership to reduce risks by developing programs, policies and procedures to promote fair and equitable employee relations and business decisions Work with employees and leaders through the the ADA Interactive process while identifying reasonable accommodations and partnering with benefits team on complex leave administration situations Evaluate and improve existing HR practices to introduce new perspectives, trends and processes Ensure employment policies and practices comply with relevant employment regulations Oversee company-wide application of workplace policies and procedures Receive, evaluate and respond appropriately to employee concerns with best in class approach Monitor, advise and counsel on performance management processes from beginning stages of performance coaching feedback to development of performance improvement plans. Design and drive training sessions to build manager capability in all areas of employee relations Support management in the development of employees including coaching and mentoring Qualifications 5-10overall experience in Human Resource with a minimum of 3-5 years direct experience in Employee Relations required with additional experience in tech Supporting Global teams a preferred Bachelors\' degree in Human Resources, Employee Relations or related field Solid working knowledge of the principles and practices of employee relations In-depth knowledge and application of federal, state and local labor and employment law and regulations Demonstrable experience in developing and executing programs that measurably impact positive employee relations Additional Information: Supporting teams in India, Australia, Singapore Key Skills and Competencies strong written and verbal communication skills planning and organizational skills attention to detail data analysis and management sound judgment and decision-making skills problem analysis and resolution discretion, integrity and confidentiality appreciation and understanding of diversity adaptable negotiation skills presentation skills persuasiveness and influencing skills conflict management and resolution collaborative skills Forward thinking Additional Information #L1-NT1 Why Zscaler People who excel at Zscaler are smart, motivated and share our values.
