JOB DESCRIPTION Basic Information Position Title Senior Executive - Finance Internal Designation Senior Executive Job Role Revenue Accounting Executive Reporting to Finance Controller Sub LOB / Department Finance Location Mumbai Total Headcount (Direct) Supervised 0 Total Headcount (Direct / Indirect) Supervised 0 Job Purpose . To effectively the entire policy holder pay out, Commission Pay out along with necessary controls and dashboards. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities . To do the accounting of Insurance payout . To do SUNGL upload (Ingenium file) are checked after creating of LOB/Agent/Location/Channel/Fund Code on daily basis for smooth functioning of operations. . To do the Fund request for policy payments is submitted regularly and also ensured to Collated Funding detail of Policy/Claim/Commission pay outs send to Treasury team before the cut off time . To execute Payout process with at most accuracy and also within agreed TAT. Complete all the checking points like suspense balance, validation of bank realization, book debits, checking of beneficiary account detail with cheque for above Rs.1 lakh and bank upload file checking. . To ensure after completed all checking ensure that the payment authorization done before bank cut-off time. . To Process all GST on broker commission pay outs with 100% accuracy and also within agreed TAT. . To Process Agent Commission Pay outs with 100% accuracy & also within agreed TAT. Specific Authorities (Financial & Non Financial) . To Share the TOF/Policy pay out control account recon to operation team for closer . To ensure Monthly submission of control dash board to the management 7 th of every month. Key Performance Indicators . Month end closure by 4th calendar day or T+2 whichever is greater achieving TAT 90%. . TAT adherence 99% for all payouts. . Monthly Variance analysis before 12 th on month - 100% compliance Job Requirements Qualifications B.Com-Finance Experience 10 Years Base skill Understanding of organizational systems, process and products Functional Competencies . Insurance accounting skills Knowledge of Insurance Sector and strong knowledge of accounting . Other basic accounting skills . Regulatory knowledge . Treasury management and reconciliation . SME- Accounting standards . Financial statements and reporting - Knowledge of Finance domain operational processes including reconciliation controls Behavioral Competencies . Execution Excellence . Collaboration Key Interactions Internal Nature or purpose of interaction Distribution Operations, Operations, HR, Sales strategy . For the accounting and payout related purpose Risk Team, Internal Audit . For risk related issues, IFC and Internal Audit External Nature or purpose of interaction Statutory Auditors, IRDAI Inspectors . For resolving auditors queries Documented By Manager - Finance Approved By Lead -Revenue Accounting HR certification By HR- BP
