Description

Basic Purpose of Job:The Metrics COE - Emerging Leader is a versatile individual with an understanding of State Street's services and platforms as well as excellent analysis skills for development and support of Metrics COE solutions, services and product offerings.

A successful candidate will work under the direction of the Metrics COE - Assistant Vice President to seek metrics solutions to meet business needs as well as lead the development of department objectives and oversee the implementation of process improvements.

This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

The Incumbent would be responsible to maintain and improve existing KPI & Metrics Library as part of Metric CoE using various tools, methodologies and oversee the business performance analysis.

Required skills:

  • Work closely with Technical / Business teams to certify for functionality, accuracy and performance of Business KPI/ Metrics.
  • Follow, and enforce automation testing standards and best practices laid out by the leads
  • Responsible for developing a continuous improvement mindset in team and project interactions.
  • Need to have skills to fetch data based on user requirement & provide meaningful insights of anlayzing data.
  • Work actively on quality control process with Client Service, Global Delivery and our Joint Venture partners
  • Maintain data dictionary with detailed metric and KPI definitions as well as information about the calculation methodology, data source and lineage
  • Document the evidence of Quality Checks and highlight the discrepancies to the respective team and try to resolve them
  • Review and check the accuracy & timeliness of KPIs and document them into reports
  • Publish Status reports on KPIs to Internal and Key stakeholders
  • Need to do sanity check and detailed level testing of data/reports .
  • Responsible for managing, and executing test practices for all deliverables/Projects.
  • Able to communicate clearly with Business Stakeholders and delivery teams
  • Work across teams to drive efficiency and to work on tight schedules with utmost accuracy
  • Facilitate meetings where appropriate and circulate the action points with the team
  • Identifying process gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Participating in and leading discussions with the stakeholders to ensure proper feedback is provided.
Education and Skills Required:
  • Good experience in client handling and working with automation reporting team.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Excellent Business operation domain knowledge in Backoffice, Global delivery , client services etc.
  • Excellent hands on experience on using MS office suit for any data and reporting analysis.
  • Bachelor / Master's degree in Engineering/ Business or other equivalent discipline.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in Business analysis and active participation data testing.
  • Prior experience of working on KPI/Metrics Reporting team and coordinating closely with Business for deliverables.
  • Strong working knowledge of Reporting and Dashboarding from Operational data..
  • Good to have basic understanding on automated reporting ways .
Technical Skills
  • Strong MS Excel, Powerpoint skills necessary
  • Proficiency in SQL is preferred
  • Alteryx or Tableau basic functuctionalities
  • Power Bi and VBA good to have
