Job Title: EMEIA FSO – HR Projects & Talent Operations – Senior Associate Job Summary: This position will provide the right candidate with a unique opportunity to support key strategic priorities while driving operational effectiveness across EMEIA FSO. As part of Building a Better Working World, EY has aligned its Talent Strategy to new priorities and new culture change and engagement demands. This role will also work on the projects driving this change.
The Virtual Talent Hub (VTH) supports a specific Region and acts as part of the extended Region Talent team. VTH works in a fully integrated way with onshore HR Projects colleagues, participating in meetings, projects, and planning activities as part of one team and is aligned with the Global Process Model.
This job provides a fantastic opportunity to join the EMEIA FSO HR Projects team. This will primarily involve:

  • Supporting Talent operations and HR projects aimed at continuously improving the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the Region Talent Team across processes, technology and operations, while strengthening the alignment of the Region to Area/ Global.
  • Supporting delivery of cross-functional projects which build organisational capability and changes ways of working within the business.
It will be a chance to work with a diverse and multi-disciplinary Talent team and work across a diverse portfolio of activities, albeit with the opportunity to focus on specialisms as required by the business.
We are looking for someone who is motivated, curious, with great attention to detail and great interpersonal skills to support project manager and delivering the day-to-day operations of the many projects and processes that the team drives, facilitates and delivers.
Essential Functions of the Job:
The opportunity:
This position will provide the right candidate with a unique opportunity to implement new ways of working, deliver change projects, to simplify how we operate as a talent function and make us more efficient. This role will involve:
  • Implementing processes to track and monitor financial and operational performance against targets/metrics of our talent strategy/team and the services we receive.
  • Monitor and maintain operational reporting requirements to enable our talent professionals to support the business in making evidence-based decision and provide evidence-based advice.
  • Working on and assisting with high impact projects (e.g., Non-Equity Partner, Strategic workforce planning, NextWave Careers, development of our new Service delivery, D&I conferences).

Responsibilities may include any of the following:
Talent Operations
  • Monitor and track billing against FY budget
  • Monitor and track headcount movement
  • Monitor KPI's and SLA's, track and escalate where targets are not met
  • Support with regional budget setting, mid-year budget review and submission
  • Support with tracking accruals
  • Work with Finance on monthly and mid-year/year-end reports
  • Produce compliance reports, monitor, and maintain.
  • Create templates/reports for tracking and monitoring invoices and budget spend
  • Attend Finance calls with Talent team performance leader
  • Support with recharge management including a current state assessment and working with finance to help support implementation of new model that reflects our operating model.

HR Projects
  • Project management involvement across our projects and processes which includes creating and tracking project plans, RAID log, Stakeholder map and HR status update sheets
  • Coordinate and support the creation and maintenance of content and collateral
  • Manage MS teams challenges for each project and SharePoint maintenance where necessary
  • Communications support – updating and tailoring documentation in line with the defined program comms plan to distribute to participants, the Business and status updates to stakeholders
  • Identify and proactively share opportunities for improvement and efficiency across all activities
  • Provide administrative support for the projects which includes inbox and query management, maintaining participant/question trackers, generating and filtering and producing reports
  • To support in scheduling briefings with the different stakeholder groups
  • To support in taking Minutes on calls and summarising key actions

Other:
  • Potential involvement in wider HR projects and activities as required from time to time to leverage knowledge and skills but also to provide developmental opportunities

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
  • To be successful in this role, we believe that you must have a genuine interest in working with senior professionals and be keen to develop.
  • In addition, we are looking for someone who has the following skills and attributes:
  • Able to deliver quality results in line with defined timelines
  • Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous eye for identifying inaccuracies in data
  • Ability to translate business requirements using data and technology
  • Experienced in projects work with a strong track record of successful deliveries
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, that can both engage and influence
  • Analytical skills - experience in creating reports, analysing data and making suggestions using findings
  • Experienced user of PowerPoint as well as the wider MS suite of products
  • Creative and curious minded
  • A self-starter, comfortable in working on their own and in teams, sometimes to tight timescales
  • Able to work with ambiguity
  • Experience of working with change management
  • Networking effectively with a broad range of stakeholders

Other Requirements:
  • May need to travel, although travel requirements are expected to be minimal
  • Core working hours aligned to GMT and CET may require flexibility in working hours depending on your location
  • May need to work extra hours in case of special customer requirements

Job Requirements:
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree / Post Grad in business or HR related discipline preferred
  • Preference will be given for those with HR Specialisation

Experience:
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in HR or related field at a coordinator or administrative level

Preferred experience includes working in:
  • Big 4 /professional services or large corporate environment
  • Change management / Talent Operations type roles
  • international and diverse environments
  • matrix organisations
  • Project management
