We are seeking a Data Steward - Analyst Level for our Enterprise Master data team in Delhi. We are looking for an experienced data professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and wants to enrich data to deliver superior customer results. This role will form part of the Enterprise Master Data Management (EMDM) group and will work specifically on the Reference Enterprise Master Data Set (Org EMDS). EMDM at Wood Mackenzie follows Gartner\'s definition of: \'A consistent and uniform set of identifiers and attributes that describe the core entities (parties, places, things) of the enterprise and are used across multiple business processes.\' Our focus is on the entities inside of the data sets we source, refine and sell. This role focus on building, enhancing, and maintaining the data that identifies or describes any organization/party in our Organisation EMDS (such as companies, government entities, individuals, trade organizations, joint ventures, etc). Our Master Data underpins Wood Mackenzie\'s unique understanding of the energy and natural resources sectors allowing for creation of high confidence linkages and roll ups across sectors.Data is the key driver behind Wood Mackenzie\'s mission to transform the way we power the planet. The successful candidate will be working on challenges around master data management supporting a wide range of data sets. Responsibilities Form a strong understanding of the data landscape, domain and workflows for your business area, customers and products Provide specialist skills in data analysis, visualisation and data management, delivering new Analytics through connected datasets and integrated pipelines Advocate for quality, take responsibility for the ownership or of data and whilst fulfilling complex data requests on time and with high standards Identify, prioritise and document opportunities for efficiency, optimisation, migration or improvement in our systems, processes and datasets Work in an agile, collaborative manner to foster an environment of continuous improvement and incremental delivery, measuring success Core user of Data/GIS platform and ensures best practices are applied to utilise or maintain databases, tools, models and processes solutions from data sourcing to client delivery Collaborate with colleagues in Research, Data, Product and Engineering to deliver Data Assetswhile supporting junior colleagues Qualifications Required Skills Experience in data related roles, demonstrating customer focus and knowledge of core concepts around ingestion, cleansing, and data quality Strong skills in Relational and NoSQL Database systems, with ability to query and analyse data using SQL or other techniques Expert skills in a data visualisation package (such as PowerBI) Worked in areas identifying and applying technology solutions to solve business problems using agile methodologies Excellent communication skills, including mentoring more junior colleagues and managing others\' workloads A keen interest and passion for learning new technologies or data skills like Python, understanding of AWS and APIs is an advantage Pluses Experience with MDM/Governance systems (such as Ataccama, Informatica, Talend, Tibco, Semarchy) Prior experience working on Consolidation and Centralized MDM implementation style Previously developed strong understanding of AWS and API\'s is an advantage Ability to work asynchronously with team members and stakeholder across multiple backgrounds, regions and time zones Additional Information WoodMackenzie is an equal opportunities employer.
