This individual would be responsible for working with cross functional Engineering teams & Validate a range of Honeywell solutions in Honeywell Smart Energy. Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software functions within Honeywell Smart Energy. You will use your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. You will also generate innovative solutions in work situations trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities. Key Responsibilities .Responsible for deployment of use cases and designing the test cases that are needed for system integration & validation of the solution. Mimic the deployment setup for the solution under validation and run tests to ensure the system under test is meeting the quality standards .Shall be responsible for development of Selenium test automation suites for the test cases designed. Propose new test strategies for test execution and process improvement. .Hands on experience on API and database testing .Debugging skills to identify the root cause in complex system .Hands on Experience in preparing Test Plan, Test Estimate .Hands on experience with one of the Test management tools (HP ALM, Microsoft Test Manager, JIRA..etc.) .Software Development models both Traditional & Agile Environments .Test result publishing .Provide input in DevOps process .Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver .End to End Solution testing MUST HAVE .Bachelors Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication, Electrical or Computers .3+ years of software testing experience .Product architecture and development background .Basic knowledge on Jmeter performance testing .Knowledge on IOT device application testing .Experience in Solution testing .Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile testing .Good knowledge on Selenium automation .Good knowledge on Python programming .Good knowledge on Java programming .Passion to explore opportunities and solutions in test methodologies and test design automation WE VALUE .Experience in Meter Data Management System (MDMS) will be preferred .Excellent organizational and communication skills .Diverse and global teaming and collaboration .Ability to do root cause analysis during failure condition .Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices .Wide degree of creativity and latitude .Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events. .Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness. .Can quickly analyze, incorporate and apply new information and concepts.
