Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, wiring, circuit breakers, panels, and outlets. Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes, hotel policies, and heritage conservation guidelines. Upgrade or retrofit electrical systems in a way that minimizes impact on historical structures and finishes. Respond promptly to guest and department electrical maintenance requests. Collaborate with preservation experts and contractors during renovation or restoration projects. Maintain emergency power systems, including generators, UPS systems, and battery backups. Maintain detailed logs of repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance. Assist with energy-saving initiatives and ensure safe, efficient electrical consumption throughout the property. Stay updated on heritage property codes and conservation requirements. Work safely and ensure minimal disruption to guests and operations.
