The candidate will be responsible for electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems, ensuring safety, compliance, and minimal disruption to restaurant and kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Maintenance:
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of all electrical systems, including lighting, kitchen equipment, power distribution panels, and switchboards.
Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely resolution.
Assist in installation of new electrical fixtures and equipment as required.
Equipment Support:
Support maintenance of kitchen appliances, refrigeration units, and HVAC systems from an electrical perspective.
Ensure equipment wiring and connections are safe and compliant.
Safety and Compliance:
Follow and enforce all health and safety standards related to electrical work.
Conduct routine checks on fire alarms, emergency lighting, and backup power systems.
Maintain compliance with statutory electrical safety regulations and hotel industry norms.
Emergency Support:
Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns or urgent maintenance calls during the shift.
Ensure quick resolution to minimize impact on kitchen and guest operations.
Shift and Documentation:
Work on a rotational shift schedule, including weekends and holidays as per business requirements.
Maintain accurate logs of maintenance tasks, repair work, and inspection reports.
Coordination:
Coordinate with other maintenance team members and report daily activities to the supervisor or maintenance manager.
Assist external contractors or vendors during specialized repair work.
Key Requirements:
Education:
ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related trade certification.
Electrical License (if applicable by local regulations) is preferred.
Experience:
2-4 years of experience as an Electrician, preferably in the hotel, restaurant, or catering industry.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, load management, and electrical safety codes.
Experience in handling commercial kitchen equipment and hotel infrastructure is a plus.
