Job Summary:

The Electrician ensures safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems and fixtures across the hotel. This role involves routine inspections, preventive maintenance, fault?finding and repairs of wiring, lighting, sockets, panels, and equipment. The Electrician responds promptly to guest or staff electrical complaints, ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and helps maintain a comfortable, functional environment for guests and employees.

Job responsibilities:

Valid electrical trade qualification or certification (electrician license or equivalent technical qualification). Prior experience in electrical maintenance/repair -- preferably in hotel, commercial, or building?management environments. Good knowledge of hotel electrical systems: power distribution, lighting, wiring, safety systems, emergency lighting, backup power systems. Skilled in using electrical tools, testing equipment (multimeter, testers), and safe handling of electrical systems/components. Strong problem?solving skills, attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a maintenance/engineering team. Flexibility to work shifts, and respond to emergency maintenance calls.

Requirements:

Qualifications: Electrical and technical education with High school diploma / 10+2 / equivalent. Experience: 1-2 or more years of experience with electrician experience
