. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency of production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine electrical maintenance on production equipment, control systems, lighting, and power distribution.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults in machinery, including motors, PLCs, sensors, VFDs, and control panels.
Read and interpret electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Ensure timely and accurate maintenance to reduce machine downtime.
Adhere to plant safety protocols and electrical codes and regulations.
Assist in the installation of new electrical equipment and production lines.
Work closely with mechanical technicians and production operators to resolve breakdowns.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and time taken.
Support continuous improvement and energy-saving initiatives within the plant.
Participate in preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an electrician in an industrial or FMCG environment.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, wiring standards, and safety regulations.
Hands-on experience with PLC-based systems, HMI interfaces, and VFDs.
Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting tools (e.g., multimeters, insulation testers).
Understanding of preventive maintenance systems (CMMS is a plus).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team under minimal supervision.
Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls.
