Job Description

The Electrician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment within the property. Ensures that all electrical operations comply with safety standards and help maintain uninterrupted power supply to support smooth hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure electrical systems comply with local codes and safety regulations. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards or defects. Diagnose malfunctioning systems and repair or replace damaged parts. Maintain lighting systems across the property (guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house). Operate and maintain generators, UPS, and other backup systems. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical panels, distribution boards, and switches. Monitor energy usage and suggest ways to optimize power consumption. Respond promptly to guest room electrical issues or breakdowns. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized electrical work. Keep accurate maintenance records and report daily activities to the Engineering Supervisor. Support in other general maintenance works as required.
