Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Technician to oversee and manage the maintenance of equipment across our Central Kitchens (Bangalore, Mumbai, and NCR). The role requires hands-on expertise in handling food production machinery, ensuring smooth operations, and driving cost-effective maintenance practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and execute maintenance for all 3 Central Kitchens (BLR, BOM, NCR).
Hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting of:
FSS machines
Floor wrap machines
Blast chillers
Roti-making machines
Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance on a periodic basis to minimize downtime.
Negotiate with vendors and service providers for cost efficiency and timely support.
Maintain proper documentation of maintenance schedules, service records, and cost reports.
Ensure compliance with food safety and operational standards during maintenance activities.
Provide on-ground support for urgent breakdowns and coordinate with respective kitchen teams.
Requirements:
Diploma/ITI in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Maintenance or relevant field.
5+ years of experience
in maintenance within food manufacturing/central kitchen setups.
Strong hands-on experience with FSS, floor wrap machines, blast chillers, and roti-making machines.
Ability to manage multiple locations and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Willingness to travel between kitchen locations (BLR, BOM, NCR) as required.
