Job Description

Install and commission laser marking machines at customer locations. Perform wiring, electrical connections, grounding, and control panel setup as per company standards. Configure machine parameters, power supply, controllers, sensors, and safety interlocks Diagnose and repair electrical issues in laser sources, drivers, power supplies, controllers, motors, and motion systems. Handle PCB-level troubleshooting (if required). Conduct preventive maintenance visits and prepare service reports. Provide on-call and remote support to customers for urgent breakdowns. Support customers in machine operation, safety guidelines, and basic troubleshooting. Coordinate with the design/R&D team for field issues and improvements. Maintain documentation such as service logs, installation checklists, and warranty claims. Provide training to customers and internal staff on machine operation and electrical controls.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, control panels, and power systems. Troubleshooting skills in drives, PLC, HMI, SMPS, motors, encoders, sensors, and controllers. Understanding of laser marking technology (Fiber / CO? / UV) is an added advantage. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Basic knowledge of mechanical and automation systems. Good communication, customer handling, and problem-solving skills. Willingness to travel frequently for service visits. Prepare service reports, installation notes, and technical documentation.
