Job Description

Building and servicing electrical control panels. Working with PLCs and automation systems. Installing sockets, switches, and distribution boards. Troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical equipment.

Installation & Assembly:

Fit, assemble, and install electrical components like switchboards, control panels, motors, generators, transformers, and lighting systems.

Wiring & Cabling:

Connect and test various types of electrical wiring and cabling.

Maintenance & Repair:

Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, and repair electrical machinery and equipment.

Testing & Commissioning:

Use specialized test equipment (multimeters, meggers, voltmeters) to check installations and ensure they meet specifications.

Diagram Interpretation:

Read and interpret electrical specifications, wiring diagrams, and building plans.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to strict safety regulations and procedures, often wearing protective gear.
