JR40776 Electrical Failure Analysis (EFA) Technician Responsibilities and Tasks

• Perform electrical and visual characterization of failing die to establish fail mechanism.
• Deprocessing failing die to identify defects.
• Diagnose equipment problems and implement solutions.
• Evaluate problems using validated detailed troubleshooting methods.
• Ensure record keeping/documentation in equipment tracking system.
• Perform preventive maintenance & calibrations of EFA tester.
• Align with standardized procedures and guidelines.
• Stay ahead of on process and equipment procedures.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.

Safety Related

• Identify and promptly report hazards.
• Follow safety procedures and area work rules including proper PPE, lockout and chemical safety..
• Operate and maintain equipment and tools within manufacturer\xe2\x80\x99s and company guidelines.
• Use proper lifting techniques and work in an ergonomically correct manner.

Requirements.

• Diploma in electrical / electronic engineering or a related field.
• Able to utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for data analysis and report writing.
• Experience working with tools such as Xray, bench testers, Oscilloscopes, Curve Tracer etc.
• Able to work in assigned shifts.
• 2+ Year of industry experience or proven experience in debugging electrical failures.
