Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Understand project specifications and customer requirements.

Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Design LT/HT switchboards, control panels, APFC panels, MCCs, and PCCs based on the load list and control philosophy.

Generate Bill of Materials (BOM), component selection, and cost estimation.

Coordinate with the sales, procurement, and production teams for design finalization and execution.

Ensure designs comply with relevant IS/IEC standards and safety regulations.

Attend technical discussions and meetings with customers and consultants when required.

Revise drawings based on feedback and maintain proper documentation.

Support panel testing and troubleshooting if required during FAT/SAT.

Key Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of electrical components: breakers, contactors, relays, meters, etc.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, EPLAN (optional but preferred).

Good understanding of IS/IEC standards, panel wiring, and electrical systems.

Analytical and detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a team.

Good communication and documentation skills.Preferred Experience:

Experience: 2-5 years (preferably in LT/HT panel design)

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering

Experience in LT/HT Panel Design - including MCC, PCC, APFC, and Automation Panels.

Familiarity with SCADA/PLC-based control panels is a plus.

Exposure to client interaction and customization of designs per requirement.
