Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to design, draft, and review electrical systems for industrial and commercial projects. The role includes creating schematics, single-line diagrams, BOQs, and layouts while ensuring compliance with IEC/IS standards and safety norms.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and review electrical designs, schematics, and GA drawings.
Perform load calculations, cable sizing, protection coordination, and prepare BOQs.
Select electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, MCCs, and panels.
Support PLC panel design, automation integration, and wiring interfaces.
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients for technical clarifications.
Use AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar tools for wiring and layout drawings.
Support testing, commissioning, and field issue resolution.
Requirements
B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
3-4 years of experience in electrical design for industrial or commercial projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar design tools.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety standards (IEC/IS).
Experience in load calculations, cable sizing, BOQs, and protection coordination.
Familiarity with PLC panels, automation systems, HT/LT systems, VFDs, and SCADA interfaces is a plus.
Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
