Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, following instructions and procedures, assists with routine detailing, redrawing, lettering, and tracing of drawings on components, assemblies, and engineering change orders. Incumbent works from data such as previous drawings, layouts, detailed sketches, notes, verbal instructions, and standard references directed by engineers. Performs drafting duties by operating Computer Aided Design (CAD) equipment such as digitizers, plotters, CRT\'s, and associated peripheral equipment and software.

Qualifications

Entry. Performs routine assignments in the discipline or function. Typically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts. Develops competence by performing structured work assignments. Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems. Works with direct supervision.
