Job Description

Role Objective
The Electrical Backend Estimation Engineer will support the estimation, costing, BOQ preparation and tender documentation for electrical projects. The role is responsible for backend calculations, vendor coordination and supporting the project execution team with accurate electrical cost data.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for electrical works.
Perform quantity take-off from drawings and specifications.
Prepare detailed cost estimation for LT/HT electrical systems.
Work on tender documents, rate analysis and comparative statements.
Prepare material requirement sheets for projects.
Coordinate with vendors for quotation collection.
Maintain estimation records, costing sheets and MIS reports.
Support project team with revised estimates and variation calculations.
Update pricing database regularly.
Assist in preparing project budgets and cost control reports.
