Reporting to the EE Launch Manager, as a EE Launch Leader you will maint ain part responsibility within You will need to track quality performance via a scorecard and be able to work cross functionally to drive teams to achieve set targets.Dimension of FunctionEngineering, Research and Development (ER&D) is a growing function withi n Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on projects and programmes for our clientsContactsJLR / TTL VPD Core, JLR PVT Manager, Client interfaces, HRArea of ResponsibilityaaEURsA Working within the Vietnam Launch team responsible for specific EE dis cipline- PWT, Chassis, ADAS, HV, Body electronics, Infotainment Systems and the delivery of the associated key quality metrics aaEURsA A nalyse customer data within IQM, FMS and AIMs in a timely manner, to deliver sufficiency plans, understand key projects and deliver the external metrics of R/1000, A/1000, TGW and JD Power.aaEURsA Lead key work-streams with suppliers to develop engineering changes to t he product, managing the complete workload from customer symptom to engineering release. This includes tooling costing and feasibility assessments, manufacturing feasibility, engineering validation through line trails and testing, and overall business case justification.aaEURsA Support problem solving & issue identification during pre-production buildsaaEURsA Implement s, in process containments & rework instructions as required to support product launchaaEURsA Attend and contribute to Build Planning Meetings -including, RIS, IPC, FMS, OTG, startup, washup, 5F, parts, WCPA.aaEURsA Collect and provide data for senior reveiws, including IQM, EPC, LMMaaEURsA Work with launc h teams to take-over new vehicle introduction.aaEURsA Provide data for and attend daily High Hurts reviews. aaEURsA Collate and present data f or vehicle quality and integrity meeting programme specifications.aaEURsA Lead management of critical torque data gathering via control p lans and attribute checks.aaEURsA Champion component engineers to ensure quality resolutions of all build related issues.aaEURsA Recording and presenting Prototype deliverables to Senior Management.aaEURsA Leading Concern and Countermeasure daily reviews, for introduction of run ning changes.aaEURsA Provide leadership and support for the whole team including Engineers to resolve significant technical issues whilst balancing other business factors.aaEURsA Liaise with Manufacturing facility teams, Site Services and external contractors. aaEURsA Raise and maintain relevant build related AIMS, and help drive robust closure actionsaaEURsA Support WCPA feedback sessions, and liaise with compon ent engineers to drive PCA, and ensure that containment is in place quickly.Knowledge / ExperienceYou will need to have a prov en track record of interfacing with Manufacturing and Engineering on quality issues. The successful applicant should have the capab ility to drive and motivate the team to achieve results and continually implement process improvements. They must be self-motivated to achieve deadlines and be pro-active in anticipating and preventing any build stopping issues, whilst ensuring that the quality of the product is not compromised by achieving the timing plan. In addition, the applicant should have the following qualifications and experience:aaEURsA You will need to be a multi-skilled electrical/electronics engineer, with experience of working in multi discipline engineering teams, experience of automotive product design, complex systems integration and the use of advanced technologies.aaEURsA You will keep regular communication with part or sub-system suppliers to ensure complete, fault free delivery at agreed milestones, with required documentation.aaEURsA Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector in passenger car applicationaa,a,,s, although othe r sectors are of interest. The ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision when necessary to deliver key objectives.aaEURsA E xperienced in ADAS systems aaEURsA Knowledge of different Automotive sub systems preferred including Powertrain, Security & Body Electron ics, Safety & Active Safety, Driver Controls & Interaction, InfotainmentaaEURsA Knowledge of working with a range of On-Car communication systems (CAN, Ethernet, Lin, Flexray) & associated Development tools to verify network signalsaaEURsA Experience of prototype ideally pr oduction vehicle builds and managing issue resolutionaaEURsA Prior Experience and specialist in working on Subsystems and Components such as Diagnostics, Infotainment etc.aaEURsA You will be degree educated or significant equivalent experience or qualifications. aaEURsA Ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues as they arise, a record of proactive delivery and commitment to meeting deadlines and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.aaEURsA Knowledge of change control, product definition and change ma nagement processes will also prove invaluable.aaEURsA Proven ability to influence and/or manage people. Good communication skills & netwo rking with PD functions, suppliers, plant & PVT is essentialaaEURsA Conversant with GSPAS, APT, AIMS, Digibuck & GPIRS Bills of Material - Essential.aaEURsA Good understanding of PCS - Desirable.aaEURsA Knowledge of manufacturing plant processes (Desirable)aaEURsA Previous experience of vehicle launches or PVT (Desirable)aaEURsA Knowledge of JLR quality data systems, including AWS, PAWS, CQI and JD Powers.
