AGORA is a managed edge service based on IoT (Internet of Things). Our ambition is to change the way software and hardware interact each other in the field in an innovative way. The edge device is the point of entry closer from the sensors communicating with the client enterprise. With the development of the technology and internet, this edge is allowing advance computation a.k.a. "at the edge", instead of in the cloud and have the required protocol to connect to the cloud. Job Summary: The essential role of the Edge Device Management (EDM) analyst is to focus on supporting the deployment of the edge device that would be deployed around the world, identify, evaluate and mitigate any issue related to the edge application and network systems vulnerabilities. Assist in imaging, provisioning and commissioning of the edge device. This role will participate in various projects supporting process improvement and gain operational efficiencies, including creating and reviewing standard documentation. She/he will work with the Hermes team to develop a script that can be run of the edge gateway to reduce task and time involved in this process. She/he will perform field operations as required, work closely with the SLIIC (Schlumberger Ltd Industrial Internet Center) and the Field Service Team.
