Introduction: Purpose of the proposed role is to be the Engineering Lead for the one of the Data Engineering Team. Develop and design ETL Solutions that can be reused for various data requirements with in Fraud TC. Creating standardised frameworks, designs for data engineering requirements in the fraud space from various Business Units (Analytics / Strategy / Quants). Understand ETL and BI landscape and the projects we are involved and delivering solutions to them. The role also involves to work with Fraud Machine Learning Platform engineering team. You will work with various federated teams and develop Ab Initio / Spark / BigData design, development and implementation.

• You will be part of the Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence deliveries. You will be hands on developing strategic Business data analysis and movements for analytics use cases. Delivering the data engineering / data pipeline function for the team
• You will also troubleshoot various problems/errors encountered by federated team while gathering right requirements for based ETL applications.
• You will have high-level knowledge about other technologies like SAS, ETL, Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, Kafka, Spark, etc. It will help to develop efficient Ab Initio and/or Python / Spark code interfacing with those technologies
• Data Derivation, Data Mapping and Data Modelling, Design, Cloud, Data architecture, Data analysis needed for ETL & analytics Development. [60%]
• Work on shaping Data Curation requirements and delivery [20%]
• Creating low level design and patterns reusable components for data engineering [10%]
• Inputs to the functional document / solution creation [10%]
• Interact with SME / Fraud Analytics / Quants to gather information to propose / design data pipelines
• Study various strategy documents available within the organization and create technical solutions meet their data requirements
• Inputs to the other teams like Run/Production Support Teams etc

What will you be doing?

• To be the Data analysis Lead for the ETL & BI Function especially specialising in A>I and wide range of Visualisation and analysis tools like (SAS , Qlik, Tableau, etc)
• To create standard practices and procedures for all the developer community
• To deliver high quality mi and visualisation from engineering function,
• To drive technical skill set enhancement for the engineering function from BI perspective
• To deliver cost effective and repeatable patterns for Data Team

What we’re looking for:

• Should have strong hands-on experience on data analysis and business data understanding and use cases based solutions with large volume of data processing. Should have delivered Warehouse projects and data mart and analysis.
• You will have high-level knowledge about other technologies like Hadoop, Teradata, PySpark , Oracle, Mainframe etc. It will help to analyse and get efficient requirements Ab Initio code interfacing with those technologies.

• Creating low level design, mapping, data analysis, data mining, finding root cases of data quality etc.

• Should have knowledge / exposure on other ETL (Cloud based ETL glue, redshift) tools, Unix, SQL.
• Should have working knowledge SQL and NOSQL databases like Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop, and Streaming data.
• Provide expertise and continuity across both the business solution and technical solution involving Ab Initio, SAS, reporting tools and BI Builds effective relationships with all stakeholders including federated project teams, BU SPOC, GIS etc.
• Relevant years of experience
