Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• This person is primarily responsible for creating, updating, and supporting trading partners EDI mapping requirements for setting up new EDI connections/projects and enhancements for current EDI integrations.
• Work with Thermo Fisher EDI Providing partners to implement solutions to meet internal and external customers/suppliers EDI requirements.
• Responsible for documenting business processes and internal business applications/systems from EDI perspective, understand EDI integrations from source and target systems/partners, perform EDI transaction monitoring, diagnose issues, and communicate respective partners or business owners.
• Daily monitoring of EDI transaction activity and support continuous improvements to existing EDI operations.
• Provide a positive, customer focused attitude to internal and external customers.

Skillsets and Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in the field of B2B/EDI Technologies, understand various EDI document types and formats, knowledge of EDI Translations tools and platforms and

• Experience in the field of B2B/EDI Technologies and understanding various EDI formats like X12, cXML, IDOCs and EDIFACT.
• Good amount of knowledge in any EDI Translation tools/software.
• Good experience in EDI mapping, EDI standards X12, EDIFACT and XML formats, SAP IDOC.
• Good understanding of EDI Retail and Logistics transactions like 850,810,856,855,997 Knowledge in ANSI X12 Standards.
• Excellent analytical skills, Interpersonal skills, Communication skills, Strong work ethics and can contribute individually as well as in a team.
• Experience involving in EDI maps development and Unit, Integration and System Testing. Debugging and troubleshooting of the application is added advantage.
• Experience in simultaneously working with new EDI projects while taking care of production support and process improvement initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university majoring in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
