- PGT Economics Teacher
Qualification:
M.A. in Economics
B.Ed. mandatory (preferred for CBSE/ICSE schools)
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at senior secondary level (Classes 11 & 12)
Responsibilities:
Teach Economics to Classes 11 & 12 as per CBSE/ICSE curriculum
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments & project guidelines
Teach Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Statistics, and related concepts
Conduct assessments, evaluate student performance & maintain records
Prepare students for board exams & guide them on presentation skills
Maintain discipline and create an engaging classroom environment
Participate in staff meetings, PTMs & school activities
Stay updated with curriculum changes and modern teaching methods
Skills Required:
Strong subject knowledge in Economics & Statistics
Good communication and classroom management skills
Ability to explain concepts with real-life examples
Familiarity with digital teaching tools (preferred)
