We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on marketing professional to join our fast-growing and powerful team. This is a varied and dynamic role supporting the sales and marketing communications organization in driving Zone India’s rapid adoption of an evolutionary new platform in the field of POC Cardiac. Internal Title : Marketing Operations Professional External Title : Deputy General Manager Reports to : Head of POC -Zone India.
Key responsibilities:

  • Develop annual marketing plan and portfolio strategy for India neighboring countries for the cardiac products
  • Establish strategies and tactics to promote product into the assigned country
  • Create and capture value proposition, develop tools and organize events, programs and symposia that engage physicians, cardiologists, labs, nurses, administrators, and the broader healthcare and governmental community
  • Collaborate with India's Healthcare marketing lead and communications team to design and develop all collateral support material for internal (sales, clinical and marketing), as well as, external customers (physicians, cardiologists, laboratorians, nurses, and allied health professionals) including brochures, slide presentations, etc. needed for training and promotional activities
  • Establish relationships with KOLs and other important stakeholders; identify and capture insights from physicians and national healthcare systems to drive product strategy and execution
  • Support the development of materials to be used in the medical education for clinicians, nurses and technicians
  • Develop and plan promotional campaigns, including direct mail and advertising where applicable
  • Support the marketing trials to further demonstrate the product’s utility and superiority
  • Analyze effectiveness of promotional programs through analysis of sales trends, market shares and other key metrics, and manage the ROI of these programs.
  • Monitor, report and counter competitor activities, as well as, similar emerging technologies
  • Establish ongoing communication, collaboration and cooperation not only within POC, but also across Lab Diagnostics, Imaging and Advanced Therapies; providing exceptional marketing support for sales as requested and always prepared for portfolio selling opportunities
  • Actively participate in regional sales training & national sales meetings
  • Participate in International conferences/congresses, organize scientific symposia and advisory groups
Key Requirements:
  • Demonstrate capacity to lead marketing plans and execute successfully in key markets
  • Highest level of business ethics
  • Position may require up to 50% travel PAN India
  • Expert proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English.
  • A strong self-starter who is competent , creative, and flexible with a collaborative and results-oriented management style
  • A passion for technology and innovation
  • Capable of working independently and functioning as part of an integrated team
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to energize and motivate people
  • Comfortable in an international environment with first-hand international experience and demonstrated success

Qualification & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing and/or health sciences or related clinical field; post graduate degree is desirable
  • Minimum 6 years IVD/POC/Pharma experience in a marketing role
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are of great importance to deliver a complete message
to a multicultural and diverse audience (employees, physicians, nurses, and other medical professionals)
  • In depth knowledge of the Indian health care marketplace and confident connection to relevant key opinion leaders is a distinct advantage
