DVA Engineer: The DVA Engineer is responsible for Dimensional Variation Analysis, GD&T and Tolerance stack up for ongoing and new projects. Area of Responsibility DVA Engineer creates and maintains DVA models representing the assembly process, tolerances, and CAD data used for the virtual assembly of a vehicle. He will be responsible for creating reports, communicating results, issues, and recommendations to the customer. Job Requirements : Should have experience in Body Components/Interior Trims/Exterior Trims Domain Should have good working knowledge of GD&T & Tolerance Stack up Analysis Should have good knowledge of GD&T Standard preferred ASME Y14.5 Should have knowledge of 2D & 3D stack up. Hand on experience on CatiaV5/ Team center Vis Mockup Hand on Experience in variation analysis software TC Vis VSA Basic understanding of Kinematic Basic understanding of CAD and Design for Manufacturing Knowledge of jigs & fixtures used in Body Area preferred Ensuring that the all project deliverables are met. Identifying all risks to the programme Essential: Must have experience in Dimensional Variation analysis domain with TC Vis VSA Experience in using CATIA V5/V6 Team Centre Engineering (TCE) Working knowledge of GD&T & Tolerance Stack up Analysis Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements. Excellent communications skills, ability to communicate at all levels
