Job Description


- 10 to 20 years of relevant experience in Internet and Technology company that would include business development, marketing and customer and seller acquisition and seller onboarding.

- Strong in execution and taking initiatives with proven track record to build and scale, team and organization.

- Strategic thinker who can handle end to end functioning of department on a large scale according to circumstances with a clear objective of achieving overall revenue and organizational growth.

- Highly analytical with exceptional presentation and negotiation skills

- Creating, administering, and implementing winning business development strategies that the company should pursue.

- Identifying, evaluating, and conducting follow-up on sales leads to closing the deal.

- Leading various marketing strategies like social media marketing, content marketing, cold calling, emailing, and other strategies to develop viable leads that can be converted to successful clients.

- Representing the organization in various functions like conferences, showcases, and seminars to create awareness about organization products and generate potential leads.

- Developing and nurturing relationships with various key strategic individuals like local leaders, key industry players, and strategic suppliers and financing organizations.

- To oversee and implement the full sales cycle which involves market research, market analysis, pitching to various prospects, and client retention.

- Tracking and reporting on the various marketing strategies to improve on the winning strategies, adjust the ineffective strategies, or change to a new strategy.

- Establishing the sales metrics and goals for various players in the marketing department including the head of marketing, business development officers, and sales consultants.

An Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills:

1. Meeting, connecting and presenting Droom as a platform to buyers & sellers.

2. Interacting with client/companies and business owners to analyse the business model

3. Account management that would include enabling sellers across India to increase their business

4. Developing business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company\'s revenue goals and profitability

5. Driving new processes conducive to expanding our online marketing capabilities and cross company awareness

6. Strategies for increasing sales volume across four marketplace - B2B, B2C, C2B, C2C, cross selling / up selling etc.

7. Responsible for understanding sellers\' overall strategic goals and translating these into strategies for consumer acquisition, conversion and retention

8. Coordinating with appropriate teams to manage online advertising, banner campaigns, text links and social media programs for different sellers

9. Monitoring of consumer industry and competitive behaviour

10. Co-own the P&L and understand where opportunities are and create a viable business to service them.

11. Responsible for sales targets, seller quality, seller order fulfillment and the overall customer experience

12. Stay on top of trends in an ever-changing landscape, find opportunities and prioritize based on size, internal capabilities, etc.
