Job Description

Responsibilities:

Safely operated company vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Planned and executed efficient routes using GPS and other navigation tools to ensure timely arrivals. Performed daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and basic maintenance, reporting any issues immediately. Loaded and unloaded cargo and materials, ensuring their safety and security. Maintained accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries. Maintained a high level of customer service and professionalism when interacting with clients and colleagues. Ensured company vehicles were kept clean and well-maintained.

Skills:

Driving:

Valid driver's license, extensive knowledge of local and national roads, accident-free record, safe operation of various vehicles.

Technical:

GPS/navigation systems, route planning, vehicle maintenance, electronic logging devices.

Communication:

Clear and professional communication with dispatch, customers, and passengers.

Other:

Time management, problem-solving, ability to work under pressure, physical stamina, and First Aid/CPR certification.
