Role: Product Development Manager. Dot & Key Skincare, Kolkata, West Bengal.

Job Location : Kolkata. Work From Office.

- Candidates from FMCG Cosmetics Industry ( Skincare, Hair Care, Makeup) is preferred. As a Product Managers you will be responsible for coordinating with the NPD Team for the entire lifecycle of a product, from ideation and development to launch and ongoing improvement.

- The primary focus is on understanding customer needs, market trends, and business goals to create and deliver a successful product that meets those requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Product Strategy: Defining the overall product strategy, vision, and roadmap in alignment with the company\'s goals and objectives. This involves understanding market trends, analyzing competitors, and identifying opportunities for growth.

- Market Research: Conducting thorough market research to identify customer needs, pain points, and preferences. Gathering feedback from users, stakeholders, and data analysis to make data-driven decisions.

- Requirement Gathering: Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as design, marketing, and to gather and prioritize product requirements. Translating these requirements into clear and actionable user stories and product features.

- Product Development: Working closely with NPD (New Product Development) Team, Design Team to plan and execute the development process. Ensuring the product is delivered on time, within scope, and meets quality standards.

- Product Launch: Overseeing the product launch and marketing strategies to ensure successful product adoption and market penetration. Coordinating with the teams to provide them with the necessary product knowledge and materials.

- Metrics and Analytics: Defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success. Monitoring product performance, analyzing user data, and making iterative improvements based on insights.

- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and issues during the product lifecycle and developing contingency plans to address them.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Working closely with different teams, such as NPD, design, marketing, to ensure smooth communication and alignment throughout the product development process.

- Making Sure to coordinate with the vendors and get the product in the best rate.. Overall, a successful Product Manager should have strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. They should be able to balance competing priorities, make informed decisions based on data and market insights, and possess a deep understanding of the product and its target audience.

Desired Candidate Profile:

- Candidate should have a minimum experience of 5 to 10 years in Product Management.

- The ideal candidate for the role should have a strong background in market research and analysis, with experience developing and executing plans successfully.

- They should also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other executives and stakeholders.

- A MBA in marketing or a related field is required.
