Job Description

We are currently retained by a growing Agri start-up to hire a Product Development Manager for them. Please note this is an agri based role and needs someone with strong background in Agri or Biotechnology.

As a Product Development Manager you will play an important role in conducting field trials and evaluations of innovative agricultural products and help R&D team to improve product performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of products and help R&D team to improve product performance.

- To perform in-depth analysis and research to identify Unique Selling Propositions (USPs) of products and carry out competitive evaluation for product benchmarking.

- Design and oversee field trials to assess the performance and efficacy of products with the help of data.

- Stay updated with new trends and advancements in agricultural industry to identify emerging opportunities.

- Support marketing team to develop effective product positioning strategies based on USP understanding, competitors analysis, and ROI insights.

- Insure data collection and analysis to develop methodologies to measure and analyze ROI.

- Interact with customers and industry expert to gather feedback on product performance.

To fit the bill, you must have:

- Master in Agriculture, Plant Sciences, Microbiology, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in product evaluation of agricultural input products.

- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

- Proficiency in competitor analysis and market research.

- Must have experience in ROI analysis and product positioning.
