What you will learn and contribute to

The Device Management space is a key differentiator for CNS BA in Nokia and the possibilities to create a business with innovative 5G solutions are near infinite. This role requires strong Technical skills, an extensive knowledge of Services and Care business and deep understanding of customer pain points.

As Services & Care Common Platform Sr Engineer in the Device Management business line, you will responsible for handling customer pre & post-sales activities, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, cost efficiency. As a sr Engineer of DM S&C common platform you will:

  • Develop and drive continuous efficiencies with the use of AI, Tools & Automation, process improvement for CARE & Services and global also develop engineers' competence on new methods, cloud-native transformation, DevOps, and SaaS adoption
  • Extend support to portfolio functions on case handling, Outage Management & Deliver RCAs wherever applicable
  • Responsible for developing best practices, guidelines across S&C and assist in e2e process improvement programs
  • Align with PU, PLM on vision and roadmap including automation Initiatives at common level
  • Ensure Operation excellence by carrying tight governance to meet all quality KPI's and enforce zero escalations mindset
  • Drive delivery and care, measured by customer satisfaction
  • Drive Product Introduction projects: costing, plans, delivery in partnership with Engineering as needed
  • As part of your role, you and your tea will be responsible & accountable to:
  • Develop PoC, CI/CD, Deploy, maintain, and bring automation in DM products & solutions, on-premises, anyCloud SaaS model.
  • Develop & Drive Best practices, process, governance, and competency development programs across
  • Provide world-class global, remote and local services & care with high delivery accuracy, quality and cost efficiency using maximized digitalized, standardized and automated tools and processes.
  • Support PLM, Engineering units to improve product serviceability.
  • Provide 24x7 Emergency Response Team (ERT) service to ensure high availability of production network
  • Drive escalated projects, transformation initiatives, vendor management to achieve organizational goals
  • Develop reporting dashboards for smoother governance/ tracking
Your skills and experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3+ years of experience in managing Telecom software services, delivery and/or care organizations
  • Strong understanding & experience on CI/CD, SaaS/ Cloud platforms/ Microservices.
  • Good automation and development skills.
  • Strong understanding of Telecom (will be advantage to have Device Management/ Subscription management landscape).
  • Experience with Service operations / Network operations, with a proven track record of building innovative offerings and executing successfully.
  • Strong Excellent coaching / mentoring skills Broad and ambitious thinker in driving value for our customers
  • Successful track record in working with large Tier 1 customers. Experience with disruptive business models and customers will be an asset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, organization, and project management skills.
  • Successful Track record in collaborating with and influencing cross functional teams towards an aligned strategic direction and execution.
