YOUR TASKS

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer with a strong programming background in C/C++.

The ideal candidate should be familiar also with Software Design tools such as SysML/UML or equivalent, possess a problem-solving attitude and a strong design thinking approach.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in RTOS based systems, and hands-on experience with various microcontrollers such as Renesas, Infineon, Freescale, nxp etc.

In addition, they should have hands-on experience with tools like JTAG debuggers, emulators, Oscilloscope, Function Generators, and familiarity with IDEs such as eclipse, vs code, or any other with knowhow on at least one of the operating system or generic software architecture.

Skills required:

  • Design, develop, and test embedded systems software using C/C++ programming languages.
  • Work with software design tools such as SysM/UML or equivalent to create system, software specifications and designs.
  • Collaborate with other hardware software and application engineers to integrate software and hardware components.
  • Debug software and hardware issues using JTAG debuggers, emulators, Oscilloscope, Function Generators, etc.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, CAN/LIN etc.
  • Strong know-how in basic electronics
Value added skills:
  • Familiarity with circuit debugging and device driver development.
  • Experience with GitLab, elm, doors, rhapsody, PTC integrity or equivalent tools
  • Familiarity with Automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LiN, Ethernet, Flexray etc.
  • Experience with vector informatik development tool chain CANoe, CAPL, Configurator, Developer, Geny
  • Familiarity with software architecture like AUTOSAR, KOALA, FASA, COMDES-II and RTOS\'s like RTLinux, OSEK, OS9, Micro-C etc.
  • Familiarity with Cyber Security, flash boot loader, UDS.
Your common responsibilities include:
  • Requirement analysis: Understanding the requirements of the system or device that the software will be controlling.
  • Design and architecture: Reuse OR Developing the software architecture and design, selecting the appropriate architectural elements, algorithms and determining the necessary hardware, CPU resources.
  • Coding and implementation: Writing and testing code for automotive embedded systems, including preexisting software configuration, writing code for control logic, handshakes and communication and diagnostic protocols.
  • Integration and testing: Integrating the software with the hardware and testing the system to ensure proper functionality.
  • Optimization: Improving the efficiency and performance of the software to meet the system requirements.
  • Documentation: Creating documentation and user manuals for the software to ensure that the users can easily understand and operate the system.
  • Maintenance and support: Providing ongoing maintenance and support for the software to ensure that it remains functional and up to date with changing hardware and software requirements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborating with other engineers, designers, and stakeholders to ensure that the software meets the system requirements and user needs.
  • Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving issues in the software to ensure that the system operates correctly and without errors.
  • Customer communication: Collaborate with end customers/OEMs, internal customers, system engineers and software architects about requirements and design.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor\'s/ Master\'s degree in Electronics/Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
  • 4+ years of relevant industry experience in embedded systems development.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and design thinking approach.
  • Hands-on experience with various microcontrollers, RTOS based systems, and JTAG debuggers, emulators, Oscilloscope, Function Generators.
  • Familiarity with software design tools such as SysM/UML.
  • Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, SPI.
  • Strong know-how in basic electronics.
