In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better This exciting role is a great opportunity for an experienced Import & Export Operational. You will be at the heart of DI Systems and will be executing Import & Export operation plans set up in ERP system to ensure On Time material availability at production line from ports. You will also initiate improvement projects to further improvement of import & export process. DI Systems is an important part of Philips, and delivers advanced solutions for health professionals to meet the needs of patients worldwide You are responsible for Day to Day operation Creates a working environment that continuously improves the Health and Safety of workers, including identification and management of occupational risk, provision Manage the movement of products/equipment/materials in and/or out of the country in accordance with organizational policy and procedure, and to comply with relevant local, country and international law and process Plan and implement import/export strategy and activities consistent with overall aims and requirements of the organization Create required shipping documents in SAP or other software to execute outbound shipments Coordination with Custom House Agents for ensuring timely clearances and effective transport solutions at reasonable costs Interfacing with shipping agencies and freight forwarders for selection of vessels & conducting negotiations for finalizing freight rates to optimize transportation costs & ensure damage free transit of goods Supply chain co-ordination for Export & Merchant Trade activities Experienced in handling break-bulk, project cargo, dangerous cargo etc. Knowledge in import and export related accounting formalities & audit compliances Handling preparation & maintenance of various import/export documents viz., with shipping lines, freight forwarders etc, as per the rules and regulations Collaboration with all parties (Planning, Warehouse / Factory Operations team, Customer Service, Sales) to ensure delivery of plan and visibility to all stake holders Should possess good Analytical & Negotiation Skills. Should have complete knowledge of IMPEX Operational with all channel partners like, Custom Brokers, Freight Forwarders, and Transport vendors Liaising with internal & external stakeholders SAP Cadence Update / Maintain import export related Master data in SAP Compliance Eway Bill Processing DG Goods Handling and 360 Reporting Correct HSN declared in customs Daily 6s Review and Maintenance Participate in internal & external audit meet the compliance requirement Actively participate & motivate team for Kaizen initiative FEMA documentation part for non-confirming material No. Critical finding in ISO , EMS , EHS , PH & FDA audits You are a part of Within DI Systems, the Order-To-Cash process entails all the activities from receipt of customer order to delivery at hospital site. Within the Order-To-Cash process there are 5 key activities handled by 5 teams, namely: S&OP/Order desk, Planning & Execution Control, NPI Supply Chain Management, Operational Procurement and Physical Distribution. You will be part of the warehousing & Logistics team (6 people). To succeed in this role, you\'ll need a customer-first attitude and the following Bachelor Degree- Any Engineering SAP Experience is Must At least 3 to 5 years of meaningful working experience in import and export operation industry, preferable from medical industry You are a good communicator with good stakeholder management skills (required) You have competencies in Master data management & stakeholders management You have the following behavior and character: customer-focused, team player, pro-active, make-it-happen attitude, flexible, persistent, empathic, able to build bridges.
