Job Description

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

oWork with carriers to ensure shipments are dispatched, loaded, and emptied in a timely manner.

oEnsure that all logistics work is reflective of the actual times that the work transpired.

oUnderstand all customer requirements and put plans in place to meet the service expectations

oBe familiar with the geographic service area and the industry standard rates that apply to each area.

oAnswer all customer questions, both internal and external, concerning loads, service, or billing information.

oSourcing new customers by developing leads and cold calling potential customers.

oCreating, developing, and retaining business relationships with customers.

oIncrease and Maintain understanding of current market conditions and business trends.

oManaging and negotiating rates based on the current market demand.

oThoroughly understand the intricacies and rapid changes that occur in the freight industry & use this knowledge to better service the existing client base.

Experience/Abilities:

oSuccessful candidate is someone with experience into Sales, Supply Chain/Logistics Customer Service/Customer Relationship Management and who has a high energy level, positive attitude and keen attention to detail with an aptitude for competence and ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.

oAbility to deftly handle multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines with minimal supervision.

oGood with Excel and other Microsoft Office products as well as transportation industry software.

oAccuracy with data processing is extremely important as well as reconciling your work and following up and correcting errors.

oConfident, self-directed person who is able find and solve problems independently.

oDemonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with an array of internal and external partners as well.

oShould be a driver of updating software and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in operations and reporting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
