Job Description

Key duties and responsibilities of a Dish Washer / Kitchen Steward:

Cleaning and Sanitation:

Washing dishes, cutlery, pots, and pans, as well as cleaning kitchen surfaces, floors, and storage areas.

Hygiene Maintenance:

Ensuring all equipment is cleaned and sanitized according to hygiene regulations and company standards.

Food Safety:

Adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, including proper disposal of waste.

Inventory Management:

Assisting with the receiving and storing of deliveries, as well as maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.

Waste Disposal:

Collecting and disposing of trash from all areas of the operation, following established procedures and recycling guidelines.

Assisting with Food Preparation:

Helping with food preparation tasks as directed by chefs and kitchen staff, such as washing, cutting, and peeling ingredients.

Maintaining a Clean and Organized Kitchen:

Ensuring the kitchen is clean, well-maintained, and organized at all times.

Supporting Kitchen Team:

Assisting the kitchen team during peak hours and working closely with kitchen staff and management.
