Job Description

The Director-Hedge Accounting Solutions is ideal for someone with strong hedge accounting expertise under IAS 39 and IFRS 9, experience leading control functions, )and the ability to build out compliant, commercially viable hedge strategies across risk types - particularly within Treasury and IRRBB.

• Oversee and manage hedge accounting processes, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize hedge accounting practices and reporting efficiency.
• Provide expert guidance and support on hedge accounting matters to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align hedge accounting solutions with broader financial objectives.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to ensure the business services remain competitive and compliant.
• Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
