Position Name - : Indirect Tax - Director / Asst. Director

Location - Noida (Work from Office)

Experience Range - 10 - 17 years

Mandatory Requirement :

- Must be a Chartered Accountant or LLB or LLM or CMA.

- 10+ years of post -qualification experience, with requisite knowledge and experience in Litigation, Advisory and Compliance with BD from a reputed consulting / CA firms / Large Corporates / Law firms for at least 6 years recently.

Job Roles and Responsibilities :

- They are seeking a Chartered Accountant / Lawyer with at least 10 years of experience, primarily from Consulting / CA / Law Firms to lead the Indirect Tax vertical of the Firm.

- The selected professional will focus on leading & growing the IDT vertical and managing a team for rendering professional services in Indirect Tax including Litigation, Advisory and Compliance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS :

- Advice, planning and support on \'Goods & Services Tax\' matters

- Interaction with the department for obtaining approvals and for Client representation.

- Litigation matters before authorities at various levels including independent representations.

- Planning & supporting end to end statutory compliances related to GST including preparation & filing of the returns.

- Plan and schedule the client assignments. Determine, supervise and allocate the right team with adequate skill sets for executing assignments and periodically review the status of the same.

- Interacting with Senior Management of Client groups UHNI & large Corporates from diverse industries for successful completion of assignments.

- Display Leadership capability by managing client relations, Business Development and growing the division.

- Supporting, training and mentoring the team to ensure timely delivery of quality work.

- Demonstrate industry expertise (deep understanding of the industry, emerging trends, issues/challenges, key players & leading practices).

- Display teamwork, integrity and leadership. Work with team members to set goals and responsibilities for specific assignments. Foster teamwork and innovation.

- Utilize technology & tools to continually learn and innovate, share knowledge with team members and enhance service delivery.

REQUISITE SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES FOR SUCCESS :

- Practical experience of representation at the department is desirable

- Updated, In depth knowledge of Indirect Tax Legislations in India including mainly GST

- Sound commercial knowledge

- Strong Client management skills

- Strong Team management skills

- Excellent Communication and Presentation skills

- Strong networking and business development skills

Qualification and Experience :

- Chartered Accountant or LLB or LLM or CMA

- Experience In GST , Advisory , Litigation & Compliance .

- Experience in Business Development.

Other Details :

- Working Days - Monday - Saturday (Alternative Saturdays working)
