Director - Trade Support (for MNC's. Open for Night Shift)

Shift time will be Night - 6:30PM to 4:30 AM
We are looking for a subject matter expert with a change mind set to provide strategic and functional leadership. Ideal candidate should possess strong experience in Trade Settlements (Including exposure to Derivatives), fails Management, reconciliation break resolution, strong and clear understanding of the trade lifecycle. In addition, the ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility and ease when working on multiple and complex infrastructure, platforms, and process.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Trade Support ; Trade review, Trade Confirmation, Communications with custodians, Allocations and Settlements

- Work closely with the traders, front office, custody, and counter party to manage fails

- Providing strategic and functional leadership to the team in India.

- Setting up instructions for wire movement

- Ability to investigate, identify, comment and rectify process, operational and system issues.

- Succeed in a challenging, global, multi-functional, diverse infrastructure. The environment is fast-paced, high-intensity, and the ideal candidate will be comfortable in making decisions, escalating, and leading a team in such circumstances.

- Create value for the firm, improve controls and efficiency. The candidate may also have opportunities to work on various ad-hoc special projects that may arise from time to time.

- Candidate should understand Securities including Fixed income, Derivatives and other complex asset structures, Equity, Asset backed derivatives, Bank debt. Working knowledge of Bloomberg, MarkIT, Everest, VPM tool would be an added advantage.

- Work closely with leaders and members of the Investment Operations team, key stakeholders (including reconciliation, technology and investment teams, among others) and other supporting teams. Similarly, the candidate will engage with relevant external stakeholders (vendors, brokers, custodians, etc.). Focus on improving building and improving relationships

- Have a change and innovation mindset to assess and question current processes, recommend and implement changes, and leverage technology appropriately to increase efficiency. The ideal candidate will also promote a culture of continuous improvement

- Partnering with the counterparts in US and London on all functional aspects including idea generation and implementation.

- Help resolve, queries/issues and would be a point of escalation

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE (Academic, Professional, Experience):

- Graduate/Master's Degree/Chartered Accountant with focus in Operations/Finance/Accounting would be preferred

- 15-20 years of relevant work experience including Managing teams

- Experience as a senior member of the team and working in a global, matrixed organization

- Strong work ethic shows initiative and deep desire to learn and strengthen individual skill set.

- Solution oriented with ability to effectively prioritize workload. Someone who encourage creativity, risk-taking, and constant improvement

- Must be detail oriented, organized, and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, deadline driven, high-risk environment.

- Deep Knowledge of Fixed Income, Derivative, Equity, OTC securities

- Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) is required.

Shift time will be Night - 6:30PM to 4:30 AM
