About Our Client

The client is a global manufacturing player growing its footprint in India, currently having an employee strength of 5000+ people. The role will be part of the organisation's innovation centre which functions as a state-of-the art facility for their engineering and technology activities

• Director is responsible for managing diverse technology teams and complex projects which will include various aspects such as compatibility, compliance and completeness
• Build the future road map for the industrial sector by collaborating closely with the technology head
• Drive a a strong strategic vision to create impact for the future of the sector in a cost conscious manner
• Build and manage external stakeholders to drive completion by identifying key issues and deliver solutions
• Drive success for the team by helping them achieve their short as well as long term goals
• Create clear plans to leverage the centre's expertise to accelerate the NPI program launch and identify opportunities that will help enhance the development of the embedded systems
• Provide leadership to drive innovation and high impact initiatives to build quality deliverables
• Drive results in a matrix culture by working closely with the engineering directors

The Successful Applicant

• Candidate should have atleast 15 years of relevant experience in Aerospace/Automobile/e-Mobility sector with 3+years leadership experience managing a team of 100+ people
• Education: Minimum Bachelors degree in the following engineering domains: Electronics or Computer Sci. or Electrical
• Candidate should have strong experience and understanding embedded systems both hardware and software with a demonstrated ability to deliver high quality products
• Candidate should be SME and technical leader in the domain and should have driven high impact innovation
• Candidate should have acted as a strategic leader driving vision, excellence and have the ability to create technology roadmap for the future of the industry sector
• Demonstrated leadership skills and abiliity to identify, attract and retain top talent and build a growth focused team
