As Expedia\'s Checkout team, we are on a mission to reimagine the One Checkout product across all of EG Brands, however we have a team that leads current checkout for Expedia serving all line of businesses across the world. Checkout team offers seamless experience to our travellers across all the line of businesses e.g. flights, lodging, cars, packages etc as well as with our loyalty programs and payment systems.. We are looking for a Director ofProduct,Checkout to help us build and maintain a best-in-class checkout experience and also help migrating to One Checkout that will serve Expedia\'s One Checkout. As a product leader you will define and deliver the roadmap of the existing Services, as well as conceptualize and launch new features and services according to traveler and platform customer needs, drive conversions and lead optimization. This role reports to Expedia India MD and will also lead other new initiatives along with Checkout products. Our ideal candidate will have successfully led a team to deliver multiple worldwide high scale, technology enabled products or services. Having a Checkout Experience will be a huge plus. You should have hands-on experience in introducing new technical products and in working incomplexcross functional global setting. You should be customer obsessed, data focused, and comfortable advocating for your plans and explaining business results to our most senior executives. Most importantly, you should have a passion for technology anddelightingcustomers with new and innovative products and services. You should be comfortable leading product and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. A successful candidate will have a strong passion for travel, solving hard problems and experience in designing products in a platform setting. You have a background in software development or product management, specific to software platforms and ecosystems. You must be highly analytical, able to work effectively across multiple organizations, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products and applications that developers and customers love. What You\'ll Do Lead a diverse team of product managers with a deep understanding of checkout and ecommerce Platform and services. Build systems to grow talent while developing successors for your own position Build and manage a team of product managers to formulate and articulate a clear and compelling product vision, stay ahead of emerging trends, drive product strategy and champion innovation Continuously formulate and communicate the strategic vision for your products and the value they create for travelers and Expedia Group. Lead executive-level (incl. C-level) presentations while driving a customer & product-led approach Build and manage a backlog, applying a consistent prioritization framework, defining a roadmap with targeted delivery increments, and driving communications throughout the product lifecycle. Drive roadmap alignment across Expedia Group Lead and optimize conversions through tests and experiments Define key product requirements throughout the consumer & travel business journey. Partner with external partners to define key product requirements for the platform. Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure high-quality, timely delivery of products and features Establish and measure product performance through close partnership with analytics teams. Build a test and learn approach to generate maximum return on investment for products and enhancements Who You Are Master\'s in Business Administrationor in a related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience 10+ years of experience in B2C product management, product marketing, business development for consumer internet products Passion for recruiting, developing, and leading a diverse team of innovative product professionals. Serve in a \'player coach\' role as a technical product leader by running, reviewing, and conducting the day-to-day work in the checkout domain Experience creating platform products and features from conceptualizing to launch Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs, managing roadmaps across multiple stakeholders Experience with end-to-end product delivery, overseeing roadmap strategy and definition, contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product, coordinating complex product development cycles and software development schedules Experience with two sided platforms and development tools Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with attention to detail and organizational skills Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is required Ability to think big and execute methodically History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one\'s sleeves to get the job done Analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases Proven track-record of taking ownership and driving results Superior communications skills with high attention to detail About Expedia Group Expedia Group (NASDAQ: EXPE) powers travel for everyone, everywhere through our global platform.
