A Director of Operations oversees and directs all aspects of the hotel operational departments which includes, Front Desk Service, Food & Beverage / Kitchen, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Fitness Centre and other relevant operating departments. This role ensures that these departments are well run by focusing on maximizing revenues and profits, minimizing operating costs, implementing and following up on service standards and team members\xe2\x80\x99 trainings. He / she ensures the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

What will I be doing?

As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Exhibiting behavioral styles that convey confidence & command respect from others; making a good impression & representing Hotel in alignment with its values.
  • Identifying & understanding issues, problems & opportunities; obtaining & comparing information from different sources & draw conclusions, develop & evaluate alternatives & solutions, solve problems, and choose a course of action.
  • Conveying information & ideas to others in a convincing & encouraging manner through a variety of methods. Strong public presentation skills.
  • Maintaining performance level under pressure or when experiencing changes or challenges in the workplace.
  • Gathering information & resources required to set a plan of action for self and/or others;
  • prioritizing & arranging work requirements to accomplish goals and ensure that the work is completed.
  • Setting high standards of performance for self and/or others; assuming responsibility of work objectives; initiating, focusing & monitoring the efforts of self and/or others towards the accomplishment of goals; proactively taking actions & going beyond what is required.
  • Leading & participating as a member of the team to move toward the completion of common goals while fostering cohesion & collaboration among team members.

  • Experience in F&B
  • Experience in Luxury segment
  • College degree or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experienced in the Hospitality, Travel or Leisure industry management.
  • Proficient in English to meet business needs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Resourceful, creative and able to maintain flexibility.
