BFSI is a key focus area for LeadSquared across India, Asia Pacific and North America. We already have several key logos in India such as ICICI, Kotak, Aditya Birla, Bharti AXA, MAX Life and Poonawalla, and looking to build on it. In addition, many Fintech start-ups use LeadSquared. We have identified Lending as a core opportunity area for LeadSquared. While the traditional NFBCs/Banks are trying to automate their paper-based processes, digitize them and give better customer experience, Fintech companies are looking at platforms to accelerate their product development. Currently, LeadSquared helps financial institutions automate the lead to loan application process. Our goal is to extend it to application -> sanction, and sanction to disbursement. While doing that, build the whole system as platform and re-usable, licensable services that Fintech companies can also use. The Role We are seeking a hands-on Engineering Leader to own our “Lending Cloud” platform. We currently have a small team internally that is working on some integrations, so the role will also involve rapidly building a world-class engineering team. Some of the key responsibilities for the role would be:

  Own the blueprint of LeadSquared Lending Cloud, and architect it in a way that it meets requirements of traditional NBFCs/Banks as well as Fintech organizations.
  Build and manage high-performing teams with a passion to build high quality software
  Deliver high-quality software that is maintainable, observable and performant
  Mentor, coach and motivate engineers on becoming better software professionals
  Refine processes to make software releases easy and fast
  Clear communication and 100% visibility of project status to all stakeholders

  Overall 12+ years of experience in software industry, with recent experience in building software products
  Highly customer focused and result-oriented
  Passion for building and delivering great software which users love to use
  5+ years of recent experience in leading software development teams with full responsibility of software releases, processes and people management
  Experience in building tech for Fintech / Lending
  Deep expertise in AWS ecosystem, and thorough knowledge of building, deploying, scaling and managing applications natively in AWS.
  Strong experience with Continuous Delivery, Devops processes and Observability.
