– Director of Engineering
We’re seeking motivated and proactive engineering leaders with a strong technical background in building large-scale distributed systems, experience leading engineering teams, proven leadership skills, a love for working with people, and a track record of shipping high-quality mobile applications. What You’ll Do

• Help to shape thinking around designing scalable products and business processes/programs to support Gameskraft's rapid growth.
• Be both a deep technical leader and a thoughtful people manager.
• Champion engineering excellence, establishing business metrics, and drive continuous improvement.
• Advocate for the team’s technical interests and needs.
• Work effectively cross-functionally to drive change and influence product and process decisions.
• Effectively scale the team by attracting and mentoring extraordinary people at various levels of experience to grow a well-balanced, high performing team
• Instill a culture of automation and engineering efficiency through the use of automated testing and process automation
• Developing security strategy plans / roadmaps based on DevSecOps best practices, including providing guidance / hands-on experience to cross-functional teams in the design, development, and maintenance of security solutions for all Gameskraft applications (Android, iOS etc)
• Demonstrate creative problem solving and analytical skills

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of frontline experience managing a diverse set of candidates (full-stack, frontend, backend, mobile) across various technologies.
• Experience working on UI Applications and Frameworks; iOS; or Android platforms is a big advantage
• Ability to mediate between competing product and technical priorities; align priorities and goals through collaboration with technical leads and product managers
• Effectively communicate between teams and within teams to drive alignment and increase effectiveness on delivery
• Passionate for test-driven development and CI/CD methodologies
• Highly collaborative problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Upbeat, adaptable, and results oriented with a positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
