You will take into account bandwidth requirements, infrastructure requirements, security and potential network expansion. Plan ahead to accommodate growth. Direct involvement in projects requiring network design. Network Modeling : Network modeling involves using information on existing network traffic and estimating the effects of growth on the network. Do you love being an integral part of company growth You will help us grow by learning new applications, standing up new branch offices, additional users or a combination of the three. Responsibilities would also include modeling the effect that newer equipment might have on network performance to make accurate upgrade recommendations to management. Network Security : You will be responsible for figuring out how additional firewalls or content filters will affect performance. Consider placement of such security equipment on the network and be sure it is installed at the proper location to provide maximum security with minimum performance impact. This is tightly tied with the security group. Responsibilities : Support the network infrastructure architecture ensuring that the respective components support the overall solution architecture Accountable for the network infrastructure integrity within an IT solution context. Leading design dependencies and impacts of change Ensure the network components are aligned to target operational and architectural models and conform with standards Lead design on medium and large sized Infrastructure projects Architecture needs/business requirements, and is both affordable and supportable Analyze and explain the risks involved in adopting certain technology solutions Produce or tailor standard designs to meet client needs whilst maintaining recognized industry and/or corporate standards Contribute significantly to more complex solutions and may lead implementation or components within the design What we\'re looking for: Basic Qualifications: 10+ years working in an enterprise environment with network support responsibilities. Cisco certification highly preferred. CCNP in routing/switching preferred. Experience with Switching L2/L3 and different platforms of Cisco switches Including Nexus Platform (5k / 9k) Experience with Wireless LAN technology and understanding of Cisco Access Points and Controllers Experience with Routing Protocols BGP/OSPF/EIGRP Knowledgeable with installation and support of load balancer technology. F5 preferred Knowledgeable with Security technologies i.e. Firewalls, VPN configuration, IDS, IPS, 802.1x, Internet. Knowledge with Fortinet, Checkpoint, and Tufin Firewall technologies Configuration and deployment experience with Zscaler and Symantec/WSS proxy Design, maintain, and modify VLAN topologies Understanding and knowledge on Cisco ACI architecture Experience with network design and deployment in Public Cloud providers AWS and Azure Automation and Orchestration experience Understanding of ITIL and Agile methodologies Return to Work : Have you taken time out for caring responsibilities and are now looking to return to work As part of our Return to Work initiative (link to career site page when available), we are encouraging enthusiastic and talented returners to apply, and will actively support your return to the workplace.
