\xef\x82\xb7 Oversee all technology operations (e.g. data center, server and physical
infrastructure, network and security operations, data storage and disaster
recovery) and evaluate them according to PCI compliance requirements
\xef\x82\xb7 Coordinate and consult with our CISO in managing the compliance and
testing of the IT General Controls and frameworks
\xef\x82\xb7 Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their
technology needs for new equipment and software
\xef\x82\xb7 Successfully deliver and meet commitments of project milestones,
timelines and SLAs agreed upon by upper management
\xef\x82\xb7 Lead, manage, coach and inspire a world-class IT team (remote team
management experience is a must)
\xef\x82\xb7 Have a good understanding of PCI DSS, OWASP, SOC 2 Type 2 compliance
requirements
\xef\x82\xb7 Identify and eliminate security vulnerabilities with testing and strategic
solutions that increase data security
\xef\x82\xb7 Compile and enforce IT policies, protocols, and security measures across
entire company to support the implementation of strategies set by upper
management
\xef\x82\xb7 Identify, control possible security breaches, and direct the security team
with best security practices \xef\x82\xb7 Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure
functionality and efficiency
\xef\x82\xb7 Maintain and expand SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant,
time-based) metrics for hardware, software and storage
\xef\x82\xb7 Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to
upper management
\xef\x82\xb7 Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and
software control budget and report on expenditures, forecasting future
capital expenditures
\xef\x82\xb7 Provide effective leadership in building relationships with vendors, auditors,
internal business representative and team members
\xef\x82\xb7 Responsible for all that is compliance (patching and security agents) for
on-prem hardware as well as virtual and public cloud platforms
\xef\x82\xb7 Develop and maintain critical Asset Management policy, practices and
functional excellence in the management of all IT assets
\xef\x82\xb7 Establish and maintain DR and BCP policies, practices and functionally
exercise plans accordingly
\xef\x82\xb7 Have an excellent understanding of ITIL framework and project
management principles
\xef\x82\xb7 Collaborate and work closely with Managers and help in planning for
process improvement and automation
\xef\x82\xb7 Coordinate with IT managers, Devops engineer, NOC engineers and system
support engineers to provide guidance, training and oversight
\xef\x82\xb7 Create curriculum for security training, processes and protocols and
ensure all employees, third party vendors and contractors align with the IT
processes and protocols
\xef\x82\xb7 Suggest industry best practices for new projects and implementation,
measure productivity and progress of team members and projects
\xef\x82\xb7 Handle other projects, duties and responsibilities as assigned Minimum Qualifications:
\xef\x82\xb7 Minimum of fifteen (15) years of broad experience in Information
Technology, including PC, networks, reporting, security, hardware and
software
\xef\x82\xb7 Minimum of five (5) years of proven experience as IT Operations/Security
Director or similar role
\xef\x82\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in computer science, information systems or relevant
field required \xef\x82\xb7 Personal hands-on experience with all operational activities of the role
required
\xef\x82\xb7 Current understanding and experience with PCI DSS, Soc 2 Type 2
Compliance required
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and
their specifications
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience in cloud-native technologies like AWS, Google Cloud required
\xef\x82\xb7 Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks,
VPN, etc.
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience in information technology budget management and financial
acumen
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience in managing small teams in a matrix organization
(Organizational Planning and development)
\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
\xef\x82\xb7 Hands-on experience with ERP and system administration
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience with Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and Incident
Response
\xef\x82\xb7 Asset Management expertise
\xef\x82\xb7 Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
\xef\x82\xb7 Must be an original, creative thinker with the ability to formulate and
express a contrarian viewpoint
\xef\x82\xb7 Must be a highly organized, analytical and strategic thinker
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience working in cloud-based IT infrastructure management
preferred
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience working in the finance sector, fintech or start up environment a
