Job Description

Director - HR

Strategic HR

- Work closely with leadership team to understand the business environment, business strategies and work priorities to develop and lead appropriate HR practices.

- Co-create and execute interventions for strategic change management that align with vision, values, and culture.

- Lead competency development in line with overall business strategy.

- Nurture a culture of growth and customer orientation in letter & spirit.

- Communicate actively across levels; including on relevant practices and knowledge on human capital

Succession Planning

- Identify critical positions, assess and develop talent to the high level of growth, build successors for key roles in the organization

- Select key competencies and skills necessary for business continuity and coach, mentor, and train talent to assume higher responsibilities

Learning & Development

- Create, execute, and manage integrated leadership development processes

- Institutionalize and drive capability building measures and employee learning life cycle in the organization through internal and external sources

Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding

- Ensure talent acquisition is in line with the company's business strategy, and build an effective talent acquisition and employer brand strategy

- Build multiple channels of collaborative internal relationships and effective external networks for sourcing and generating in-bound talent

- Enhance recruitment processes and systems to improve the brand Image

Talent Management and Performance Management Systems

- Design and develop effective talent management process

- Develop a sound performance management system that combines achieving employee goals along with organizational objectives and business goals

Compensation and Benefits

- Define a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation and benefits philosophy and package.

- Ensure that compensation practices are per employment laws.

- Perform salary reviews based on market and sector specific benchmarking to ensure competitiveness

People Management

- Provide direction and mentorship to the HR team to ensure their growth and effectiveness along with retention

- Ensure strong business partner relationships with business functions

- Monitor and evaluate human resources industry trends and share HR's point of view on relevant emerging practices

- Develop and monitor the HR budget and manage the cost/benefit ratio of the function

- Monitor the impact of HR practices and align strategies/processes as needed
