The role will be responsible for designing and implementing the people strategy for the Sales Function Details of the role Designation Director - Human Resources Function (Job function) Human Resources Grade and Level M2 Job Family (Specific sub-function) Human Resources Role type (Primary level of contribution) HR Head - IBP business Location (City name) Mumbai Business Unit (P&L) IBP Scope of the role Scope - As a Head of the HR Function, the Head-HR has to work in very close coordination with all Functional Heads and is primarily responsible for matters pertaining to Human Resources. The Head- Human Resources will play a critical role in attracting, developing and building human capital for the organization. PRINCIPAL TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsible for all facets of HR & IR Strong functional knowledge of all aspects of human resource management in formulating and executing Human Resource Strategy, which aligns to the overall business goals Driving key HR strategic projects in Business for productivity improvement Design the annual HR budget and ensure optimal utilization of resources to ensure effective outcome for all HR metrics Ensure timely hiring of the right person for the right job through various sources Talent Management: Track staff movement, attrition and vacancies and ensures vacancies are filled within stipulated time using the most effective and cost efficient method and sources Ensuring creation and implementation of Induction process for all new joinees. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions) Grievance handling of employees at HO and Field force Develop, Implement and monitor an effective and transparent performance management system Taking initiatives for reducing the attrition rate Talent Succession Plan for critical roles To administer and implement HR policies and procedures Ensure 100% adherence to Statuary compliances Maintaining employee relations Drive and lead the agenda on employee engagement. Relationships around the role Reporting to (Direct) VP & Business Head , IBP Reporting to (Matrix) CHRO No of Reportees Direct 3 Indirect 1 Key Internal Stakeholder(s) All functional heads - Sales, Marketing , Finance & Supply chain Competencies critical for the role Scientific/ Technical Competencies Proficiency level Commercial Acumen High Communication High Negotiation Skills High ER/IR skills High Behavioral Drive for results High People orientation High Academic qualifications and experience required for the role Required Educational Qualification & Relevant experience MBA or equivalent from a reputed college with a work experience of 15-20 years in HR Experience from the Pharma /FMCG / FMCD industry is desirable. Additional Requirements Candidate should be well versed with current HR practices in Pharma / Sales organization.
